What a year! 2018 was a fantastic year for aNm – webinars, conference presentations, continuing work for clients and projects, and so much more!
Webinar
eLearning Industry
“How to Choose An Authoring Tool: Essential Checklist” https://elearningindustry.com/webinars/how-to-choose-an-authoring-tool-essential-checklist
I was honored to give a webinar evaluating various authoring tools for eLearning Industry in June, 2018. The webinar was presented by the good folks at iSpring and had a great turnout and interesting chat discussions. Use the eLearning Industry link above to watch a recording of this webinar (sign-in required).
Conferences
2018 was a busy year, as I gave presentations at several conferences. Each of these events was fantastic and, as always, it’s great seeing old friends and making new ones.
Learning Solutions – Orlando, Florida
The eLearning Guild’s Learning Solutions conference in Orlando is always a great event. This year I presented a bring-your-own-device talk, “BYOD: Add Affordable 3D Content to Your eLearning.”
You can view the slides from my presentation below and some conferences photos just below the slides.

Learning DevCamp – Salt Lake City, Utah
2018 also allowed me to visit Learning DevCamp in SLC for the 2nd time. I presented, “Get Graphic: eLearning Tips from Comic Book Theory”, and got to hang out with some fantastic people.
See slides and photos below. You can also read further about this conference at, “Recap – Learning Dev Camp 2018“.

Realities360 – San Jose, California
Though this is the 2nd year for this important conference on AR, VR, MR, and XR, it was my first time to attend and present at Realities360. My presentations,”EZ360: Using Blender to Create Custom 360-Degree Video” and “3D Clearance Rack: Add Affordable 3-D Content to eLearning Simulations, AR, and VR”, had great turnout and generated some really good discussion.
You can read more about this event in my recap, “Notes from Realities360 2018“.
The Blender presentation was more of a hands-on, you-had-to-be-there event, but you can view the slides for “3D Clearance Rack” below. Also, check out the pics from the event, just after the slides.

Online Learning Conference – Chicago, Illinois
This was my first time presenting for a Training Magazine event and I’m glad I did. Despite some technical hiccups with the projector and limited internet connections, my hands-on walk-through, “EZ360: Use Blender Create Custom 360° Video”, went very well. Attendees left with a high-level, functional knowledge to create rudimentary 360° videos using the free, open source 3D software, Blender.
See photos from the Online Learning Conference below.
